Nestled in the rolling valleys between the coast and inland, this design takes full advantage of the indoor-outdoor relationship by blending and borrowing views on site and beyond.

Using the landscape as an extension of the home, it invites people to experience different moments throughout the day as the sun and wind change over the site. The design also focuses on using drought-tolerant and animal-resistant plant materials to avoid the need for fencing and enclosures that would impede the sight lines and add unnecessary borders.
